Research

PAMT Journey Map

PAMT is an internal tool and is the legacy technology from The Homedepot for users to manage item attributes. In 2020, the Homedepot conducted a user research with around 20 users from different teams to understand their painpoints.

After I joined the Homedepot, my first task was to go over all the records about this research and conduct new ones if necessary, then collect the goals and painpoints of PAMT. I created a journey map that can be used internally with the project team to meassure success and be shared with other teams to share knowledge about PAMT.

Design

The Homedepot Merchandising UX team uses ANT design library for all of our applications in the merchandising space which saves us a great amount of effort to create visual elements and ensure consistency. Although for IDM space I worked as a solo designer, my design process always involves discussion with the UX team about design standards and past experience and communication with the project team about user needs and efforts.

Award

During my delightful journey in homedepot, I received great support and help from my UX team and project team. I've learned a lot from them and am also glad that I was able to share my knowledge and energy to the team.
